Frequently Asked Questions

How does the document scanning quote calculator work?

Our document scanning calculator is quick and easy!

Simply click the method of document storage you are currently using. If you have more than one storage method click both. Then provide us with the volume of cabinet drawers, file boxes or individual documents you would like scanned.

Our price estimator will provide you with a real time no obligation scanning quote.

What is included in this scanning price estimate?

Included in our scanning price is normal preparation and folder level indexing. If you require heavy document preparation or additional indexing, we will happily create a custom quote for your project.

How do we estimate the number of documents we need scanned?

A standard banker box of documents holds between 2,000 and 2,500 pages. A large box holds between 4,000 and 4,500 pages. Those estimates vary depending on how tightly packed the boxes are and how many folders are in the box. If your paper is tucked away in filing cabinets, there are between 150 and 200 pages per inch.

What is “Scan to Zero”?

Scan to zero is a new way of tackling scanning projects. Instead of scanning everything at once, we scan the documents you use day-to-day first. Then chip away at your archives box by box until you have scanned all of your documents. The advantage of Scan to Zero is an immediate gain in physical space. We take all of your files away, but we scan them to digital on a schedule that fits your budget. That timeline is up to you!

Where does the scanning take place?

We have two options: onsite or in-house. Onsite means that we transport equipment and operators to your facility for scanning. This option is a bit pricier. Most companies opt for our in-house scanning where we pickup or ship the documents to our facility for scanning.

How long will my scanning project take to complete?

This will depend on the size and complexity of the scanning project you are looking to have completed. Reach out to one of our experts with additional information and we will provide you with a detailed quote and timeline.
